BASKETBALL

» The Two Rivers Girls Basketball Association, Inc., is set to host its annual Two Rivers Raider Rumble Tournament, with the seventh and eighth grade tournaments being held on March 3 and 4 and the fifth and sixth grade tournaments on March 10 and 11.

The first eight teams to send in the $165 team fee will be accepted. Checks may be made out to Two Rivers Girls Basketball Association, Inc., and mailed to Tracy Person, 1611 27th St., Two Rivers, WI, 54241. Call Tracy Peterson at 920-553-6162 with questions.

» The Lakeland College men’s and women’s basketball programs have announced their next youth tournament is scheduled for Jan. 8 and it will replace the 15th annual pre-season tournament, for fourth-eighth grade boys and girls.

Other tournaments are the 22nd annual Mountain Dew Classics, March 17 or 18, for third-fourth grade boys and girls; the 22nd annual Mountain Dew Classics, March 24-25, for fifth-eighth grade boys; the 22nd annual Mountain Dew Classics, March 30-31, for fifth-eighth grade girls; the 14th annual Muskie Shootouts, April 21-22, for third-eighth grade boys; the 22nd annual Muskie Shootouts, April 28-29, for third-eighth grade girls and the sixth annual Muskie Spring Classics, May 19-20, for third-eighth grade boys and girls.

» The Boys Basketball Club is sponsoring a boys basketball tournament on Feb. 11-12 for those in grades six and seven and another for eighth-grade boys on Feb. 18-19.

Team fee is $175 for five games to be held in Two Rivers and spots are limited. Contact Randy Fredrikson at 920-323-6872 with questions.

» The St. Francis of Assisi Athletic Booster Club will hold its annual 5th–6th grade and 7th–8th grade basketball tournament Feb. 9-12. The entry fee is $125, with checks to be made payable to St. Francis of Assisi Booster Club.

Awards are given to first-, second- and third-place teams and a consolation team. Only school-associated rosters will be allowed, no all-star teams.
